For me and many others, animals are a comfort, especially during times like these.
Every Friday evening, my husband Michael and I go looking for crepuscular animals of the rabbity kind.

Our cherished rescue mutt makes us very happy, Ann.
That makes me happy, Mark.
One of the things on my list to get when I moved to Madison was a Maine Coon cat. However, checking out my new budget and remembering the cost of food, anti-pest meds, vaccinations, check-ups, booster shots – I thought that maybe no. I do wish I could bring the squirrels in close enough for a pet, but feeding them and the birds are the closest I get to pets these days. It’s all good.
I’m glad it’s all good with you and the animals, Barbara.
Jane always makes wonderful pictures. And crepuscular rabbits are wonderful.
I have a jar of tadpoles right now. It’s hard to tell because they’re always moving but I think I have at least three different species. The largest is already growing legs. If they’d be still for just a minute I’m sure they’d make a great picture.
I’d like to see that picture, Chris, and Joan says hi.
animals are so great because they don’t pretend to be any else besides who they really are
amen to that~
Thanks for your authenticity, my friend.
