Last I heard (earlier this morning?) Leader Jeffries had spoken or planned to speak for about 6 hours? Dems trying to delay vote until holiday officially begins. If R’s go home for the holiday, they may have to face voters (parades, et al.) and some may decide to vote no. I think that’s the plan, anyway. But is it inevitable that Congress will break for the holiday? That, I don’t know.
