I sometimes get the word of the day via email and yesterday’s word was “kludge” (pronounced “kloodj”).

.
When I saw the word “kludge,”, I thought of my very unusual heart, in which the parts are assorted strangely and are performing tasks different from what they were designed for. But because I am not ill and am living a long life, I decided that wasn’t the best use of kludge.
How about this? From the kludged United States, I am now going to kludge today’s blog.

.
I’m continuing to kludge this blog post by sharing the first video that pops up for me onYouTube.
.
Thanks to all who are here for this kludge post, including YOU!

We have a new kludge on our hands every day, Ann.
It’s a very kludgey time, my friend.
I am enjoying the Colbert clip right now. Thank you!
You are most welcome, Maureen!
Oh, I get it. Like McGyver? Only I want to pronounce it like sludge. As in “we’re just kludging through the days of this regime.” Podcaster John Ganz insists we do not have an administration, we have a regime. Whatever. We’ll kludge together what we can as we trudge through the sludge.
You get it, Barbara.
some are very easy to spot lately –
It’s true, my true blue friend.
I have a dream that people will see that we’re headed for disaster, if we’re not already in one, and that enough will get together to turn things around. That may be naive but it’s all I have right now.
You’re not alone, my friend.
