Day 4426: Providing Hope

Yesterday, before my appointment with my beloved cardiologist Dr. Deeb Salem, who has been providing hope for me for 45 years, I saw this pamphlet in the waiting room:

.

Dr. Salem is also providing hope for many in Massachusetts by helping to create the Physician Pathway Act.

.

Here is a TV news report, featuring Dr. Salem, about how the Physician Pathway Act is providing hope.

.

Let’s see if my other images for today will be providing hope.

.

With all the hope-damaging news these days, we especially need Dr. Salem and all those providing hope, including YOU.

  1. Dr Deeb Salem’s physician pathway program is brilliant. We could sure use something like that in Canada. (Unfortunately, The video won’t play in my area. But fortunately, I think the description you included really covers the plan very well.) Thank you for sharing this.

“This too shall pass” is my touchstone of hope. I also hope to live long enough to see “this” pass. That being said, “the evil that men do lives after them” is also often true, and the wickedness of their current intent may do such damage that repairing it could take reimagining on a global scale. Too many of those suffering loss will find it difficult to forgive, much less forget.

  3. I’m living in the country I want to live in, and know that even with all the negativity and craziness going on, I’ll make it through still standing and will welcome a return to a kinder way of life

  4. The fact that there’s a law that allows Dr. Salem and doctors like him to work in Massachusetts gives me hope. The fact that Joan found her way to you from Tennessee, and still does what she wants, gives me hope. And it gives me hope to think of myself as a citizen of the universe.
