Day 4397: Asking

I have no trouble asking people questions but I have a lot of trouble asking people to do something for me (like subscribing to my YouTube channel).

Is anybody asking for images related to asking?

.

Is anybody asking for a YouTube video about asking?

.

It’s time for me to be asking for comments, below.

Thanks to all who are here for this asking post, including YOU!

I’m better in print, so instead of asking my son to wake me up this morning when he left for work (I have an early appt. with a cataract doc), I left a note on the bathroom mirror. And my birthday is a month from now, so instead of asking him directly to get me a flashlight like the one he carries (getting the TV back on involved looking behind it at cables), I e-mailed him with a request for a flashlight for my birthday. Just had a stray thought. Is “please” the plural of “plea”?

    Are those Cagels?!?!

On January 20 I will be outside doing something constructive or inside reading. Depends on the weather.

  3. It took me a moment to get the shocking post about Mr. Z, and then I burst out laughing. Good one!

The question I am asking myself is, is it time to set up a new fish tank?

    • Good question, Maureen. I just submitted an application for the Vancouver Fringe and, to my surprise, they didn’t ask for any details about my show. I’ll keep you posted.

  4. I also have hard time asking people to do things for me, but I did subscribe to your YouTube, to that’s an example of how it can work!

  5. I’m glad you keep asking questions. I know I’m not alone in feeling I’m not always listened to and I appreciate that you don’t just ask questions but you listen to the answers.

  6. I’ll be keeping our life in order, Ann.
