Day 4274: Here for everything

I want to be here for everything AND I want to minimize being with toxic people and situations.

I’m here to tell you that both are possible, if you take action and set limits.

I appreciate that you are here for everything in this post.

.

I’m here for everything, especially cats.

.

I’m here for everything this weekend, including a haircut, consulting with Riccardo Pearlman about next steps for my music career, food shopping with my husband, video calls with people I love including my friend Jeanette, my son Aaron, and my ex-husband Leon, and a special showing of Blazing Saddles with fabulous friends Janet and Ray from film school.

When I search YouTube for “here for everything, I find this …

.

… and this:

.

Thanks to all who are here for everything, including YOU!

  1. We can do it, Ann.

  2. Sounds like you have a fun and very non-toxic weekend planned, Ann! Wonderful to have friends from film school.

  3. Have a great weekend, Ann. I have the day free for writing (a memorial about my friend Jack) – am here for everything, even loss. Am here for the election (see previous sentence). Am here for September turning into October. Am here for finishing perhaps the most inscrutable of Kim Stanley Robinson’s novels, “Forty Signs of Rain.” At 81, I’m even here for inevitably dying, but kind of puzzled at seeing no signs of it happening yet. Oh, well. On we go.

  4. I’m here for a day of writing – finishing a memorial for my friend Jack. I’m here for sad as well as happy endings. I’m here for the election – see previous sentence. I’m here for September turning into October. I’m here for finishing Kim Stanley Robinson’s “Forty Signs of Rain.” And I’m here for the inevitability of my own ending, but at 81 am constantly puzzled that there doesn’t seem to be any significant signs of its coming. Oh, well. On we go.

  5. Debbie Terman

Anything chocolate is good with me, as long as it isn’t ruined by coffee flavoring.

  6. Ben & Jerry’s has an ice cream called Kamala’s Coconut Jubilee and I am here for it wherever “here” is where I can get it.

  7. here’s to everything, and just when you think you’re there, there’s more. like the concept of infinity in math, but better.
