Before I watched the entire series of The Prisoner for the first time I saw a program Leonard Nimoy hosted about great TV show finales, which included the revelation of who “Number One” was. I was still unprepared for how bonkers the conclusion was and I was glad there wasn’t anything that could have braced me for it.
