These days, there are so many reasons to feel ongoing heartache, including another mass shooting in the USA, described here in the Boston Globe:

In that same article, Gabby Giffords expressed ongoing heartache:

.
Knowing our leaders won’t act means ongoing heartache. When I look at the news, the ongoing heartache can be unbearable.
In the midst of all this ongoing heartache, here are my other images for today.

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “ongoing heartache.”

Thanks to all who give me hope during ongoing heartache, including you.

You don’t get more “ordinary Americans” than in a pool hall and bowling alley in a small city in Maine. Whence the hatred this time? My ongoing heartache has a lot to do with the lack of answers. What a motive that reads, “Just cuz,” tells me is even more frightening than the act itself.

In my comment above, I added that last sentence to convince the algorithm that I had not posted this before, as my first attempt told me I had. It did the same thing yesterday when once again I tweaked something and it was accepted. ???

Your comments are getting through, Barbara.
all of those mass shootings are so tragic! My heart goes out to all of the victims!
So tragic, Carol Anne. 💔💔💔
There is a lot of heartache right now and I am noticing that many people are pausing to notice that. There is a kind of togetherness.
I noticed the togetherness too, my good friend.
My heart is weary
You’re not alone, beth. 💔💙
I think art can help with heartache and I’d like to highlight the person who brought up Mark Rothko. His work isn’t boring; it’s peaceful, and I understand why people can sit in front of his paintings of seemingly solid colors and lose themselves. It takes on even deeper meaning when we know what a tormented person he was, and there should have been help for him. The art he left after his suicide makes the world a better place but if he’d just lived and been able to be happy, even without the art, that would have made the world a better place too.
You make the world a better place, my ongoing friend.
Guns Over People–I think that’s correct. The trauma keeps collecting and I’m not sure we can hold much more sorrow. 💔
Thanks for helping to hold the sorrow, my friend. 💔💙💕
Guns will always fall in the wrong hands- they should be banned. I like the art of Eva Fischer. Have a nice day, Ann
Thanks for this reply.

It’s very upsetting, Mark.
