  1. Working at the public library for the closing chapter of my communications career taught me much about kindness, Ann. I so fortunately related with folks who needed it and gave it.

  2. that talk on kindness was good! <3

  3. Kindness can be lacking in the world, but there’s still a lot of it out there. A lot of times it’s easy to be kind; other times it’s not. That’s the test.

Your followers came up with some great cat puns!

  5. I especially love the water photos.

  6. Random acts of kindness and senseless beauty have been my watchwords for years. Kindness is easily done. Beauty, however, takes a little work and the most I have been able to contribute lies in the occasional turn of phrase in my writing. One has to read what I write to find them.

  7. Earlier today I saw a sign that said, “Something doesn’t have to happen to you for it to matter to you.”
Caring about and wanting to help other people even without understanding or being affected by what they’re going through is, I think, a major part of kindness.

I believe we should always be kind- it doesn’t have to take a tragedy to be as such. Have a nice week-end, Ann
