Day 3869: Keeping up

Keeping up gets more challenging as we age, as I’m finding to be true in my 70s.

These days, I’m working on keeping up with all my new followers on the social media site Threads, who apparently want to be keeping up with our cat Joan.

We’re also keeping up with our ongoing home-owning repairs. And, I’m keeping up with my wish to get a nice photo of me with my husband and my son for my 50th reunion class report.

Will you be keeping up with today’s photos?

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “keeping up” on YouTube (in addition to countless videos about “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”).

.

I’ll be keeping up with your comments, below.

Thanks to all who are keeping up with me, including YOU!

  1. I know you’ll have a great eye in picking out a fantastic photo for your 50th reunion, Ann. The sampling here makes me smile.

  2. love any of those group photo choices and i’m sure you’ll choose well. with time and age, i’ve come to worry less about ‘keeping up’ and more about ‘standing up.’

  3. Is that some old-fashioned tin ceiling flakery going on in your earlier photos? The home owning repairs of which you speak? I am grateful that, living with my son in his house I am no longer responsible for keeping up with home repairs. Today, however, I am going to keep up with the pile of “to be dealt with later” papers on my printer. What in the world will they demand that I keep up with, I wonder.

  4. Some people try keeping up with the Joneses. I like how many people are keeping up with the Joan-ses.

  5. Keeping up with posts and comments takes much of the morning

  6. Typically I’m more drawn to the photos of Joan than the other photos, but I don’t ‘know…those cookies really jumped out at me. 🙂

I love the way the one follower highlighted you for your excellent marketing skills. You’ll need to parlay that compliment into encouraging all who follow to finding your YouTube musical offerings!
