Why do I blog? I’m not exactly sure, but whatever the reason, blogging has helped me face every new day for the past three thousand, eight hundred, and seventy days (but who’s counting)?
Why do I blog? To share my thoughts, feelings, and images like these with people like you.

.
I wonder what I’ll find when I search YouTube for “why do I blog?”
.
Why do I blog? So I can express my gratitude for people who help me face every new day, including YOU.

Everyone has their reasons, but so glad that you and others like David Kanigan are so committed to the process, Ann. Your musings are a special part of each morning. 🥰
And your comments are a special part of my life, Lori.
and why do we read blogs? for the exact same reasons – human connection
It’s always wonderful to connect with you, beth.
I am very glad that you are part of my life thanks to your blog, Ann.
Likewise, my good friend.
Because you’re good at it
How good of you to say!
I have nearly 1,000 posts on my website, Barbara’s Bookhouse, which I started I don’t remember how many years ago. I do remember why. I wanted a place to put thoughts about stuff out into the public sphere and to generate conversations. That didn’t work so well. I got lots of responses with “likes” and the like. But was very rarely taken up on the invitation to talk back to me. Maybe folks just don’t have the time? Or perhaps the invitation just fell on deaf ears. Maybe nobody got my jokes. All possible.
My guess is that people just don’t have the time, Barbara, and I always appreciate our conversations.
That is one very long and impressive string of daily sharing, Ann. I admire that dedication and for one, of many, I’m glad you blog! 🙂 And you’re amassing quite a following on Threads, as well. Very cool! 😍
I’m so glad I met you through this blog, my friend!
Every once in a while I go back and read Daniel Pinkwater’s The Big Orange Splot because it’s funny and it says it’s okay to express ourselves. And sometimes I think it’s like blogging. Maybe a bird dropped a can of orange paint on you, or maybe you looked at someone else’s blog and thought you’d like one too, or maybe you just wanted to do it. Whatever the reason your blog is where you like to be and it looks like all your dreams.
And I like to visit and drink lemonade with you here too.
Why I blog is also to connect with wonderful and creative people like you, Chris.
