Yesterday, when I was dealing with one of the nicest people on Earth, I was trying to schedule our next session of working together on the audio versions of my original songs. Neither of us wanted to suggest a starting time on Sunday that would inconvenience the other person, so he sent me this text:

I had never heard the term “Canadian Standoff” but I immediately knew what he meant.

That makes me wonder whether nice people will ever walk through that door to move forward. I hope so, because I wish more nice people were in charge these days.
