Day 5008: Listening

Lately, I’ve been less concerned about who is listening to me and my music.

Instead, I’ve been listening to

  • people in my Coping and Healing groups,
  • audio books,
  • those I love,
  • the sounds of nature, and
  • my intuition, which is telling me to share these images for today:

.

.

Thanks to all who are listening, here and now, including YOU!

Day 4732: Grieving

As a group therapist in a hospital, I work with many people who are grieving, sometimes when I’m grieving too.

Yesterday was a day of grieving many tragic losses but also appreciation for blessings, as I hope you can see in these images.

Thanks to all who are here for this grieving post, including you.

Day 249: If you are having trouble focusing

First, take a breath.

Better?

Next, have a drink of water.

Okay!

Next, as Dennis Farina puts it (somewhat crudely), in “Midnight Run” ….

… take in some nourishment.

Finally, remember this.

Everything you need is there for you, where you are, in the moment.

Thanks for being here, today.
