Here and now, I’m waiting for Tuesday’s midterm elections and (I hope) the beginning of the end of the current administration.
I’m also waiting for other things and I am doing my best to practice patience and radical acceptance. What helps is an awareness of what I can control and what I can’t control.
I’m not waiting for an explanation of why it can be so difficult for me to wait — I think this is related to my experiences as a child in the hospital where I had no control and had to wait for adults to respond to my urgent needs.
What are you waiting for? My images for today?

What I’m waiting for is a way to let you know how grateful I am for YOU!

Ooh. Happy November! On Facebook, I’m counting down the days, not until Election Day but until the day after. Or may the night of. Whatever. Today is 3. Three days until we are in sight of results. I’m not waiting to vote. I’m waiting for results.
Once we get past next Tuesday I’ll be waiting for a colonoscopy later this month. I hope the midterms will be more enjoyable.
I’m also really glad someone mentioned Whoppers malted milk balls. I have fond memories of getting miniature boxes of those in my Halloween candy.
