With all the great days I’ve been having on my solo tour in Switzerland, I guess it was inevitable that I would have a bad day.
In Lugano yesterday, I had a bad day. It was very hot and humid, ChatGPT kept sending me places that had lots of stairs and biting bugs, systems and machines were broken, I thought I had lost a phone charger, I got into an increasingly bad mood, I felt homesick and ashamed, and some old part of me thought I was being punished for having so many great days.
However, the bad day had some great moments and now it’s another day!
Also, even though I don’t speak the language, I intuitively took a picture of this during my bad day.

.
Here are the rest of the images I captured during my bad day.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “a bad day.”.

Thanks to all those who improve my bad days, including YOU!

Always a bit of bad in most things but also there is good
Always, my good friend.
On a bad day in Switzerland, think of Lord Byron and the Shelly’s. They also had some bad days, but Mary wrote Frankenstein, so when you write your blog, you can pretend you’re Mary. 🙂
My daughter arrives tonight. In the old days, when I had a bad day she would follow me around the house singing Bob Marley’s “3 Little Birds” driving me crazy until I broke down and started singing it with her. Does husband Michael know that song? Just in case? 🙂
I don’t pretend to be anyone else, Barbara, every day when I write this blog. And I love that song!
I hope in spite of everything you fell in love with Morcote and were able to take the later ferry.
In spite of everything, Chris, I keep falling in love with life.
I am sorry that you had a bad day. Thank you for sharing the enthralling photos. I have never ridden on a funicular. (Hug)
It was only one bad day in the midst of so many wonderful ones, Maureen. Hugs back at you.
