Day 4870: Fun Purchases

When I was in Barcelona earlier this week, my fun purchases included earrings that look like tomatoes.

I wore those earrings yesterday to remind my husband to buy tomato plants (among other fun purchases) at a local garden shop.

I think it’s important to continue to make fun purchases even during undeniably unfun times.

What other fun purchases do you see in my images for today?

This is Frank from our favorite restaurant, Brassica, where we have made so many fun purchases over the years.
This is one of our favorite fun purchases: Frank’s Flan. Thanks, Frank!

.

I hope that my original music has been some people’s fun purchases.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “fun purchases” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who are here for this fun purchases post, including YOU!

I suppose my best fun purchase these days is my once every month or so pedicure, choosing a color for the season. I wear green for March and April, now have pink for May and early June. Then likely red or purple, followed by orange for September/October. Generally something festive for November/December, and in January I generally choose blue, because I like to think my toes are blue with cold. Just a little seasonal fun.

  4. Our bus from Spain to Portugal stopped at the border and somehow I found a little shop of all sorts of fun odds and ends. At the time I had a friend who loved wearing fun earrings and I found one that was perfect for him there. The shop was run by one woman who spoke perfect English and told me she’d been there for fifty years. I wish I could have spent all day talking to her. Fun purchases always seem to come with fun memories.
