I can remember when I would not leave the house without a little makeup and making sure my hair looked right. Now I’m absolutely shameless about facing the world without makeup and forgetting to check my hair. And you know what? Nobody notices! 🙂

Your shamelessness is admirable and I’m not ashamed to say so.
Also Kick Butts Day reminded me of when I worked in customer service for the trucking industry, answering phones all day. I would rather be anywhere else but once in a while I’d answer a call and hear this friendly voice say, “This is Steve.” I’d ask Steve how he was doing. “Busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest” was usually what he’d say. For just a moment Steve made work an okay place to be.
