Day 4759: Trying our hardest

Sometimes it’s hard to try our hardest, especially when life is hard.

I’m trying hard not to try my hardest all the time because, honestly, we all need a break.

Now, let’s be trying our hardest to find relevant connections in my images for today.

.

Now I’m going to try my hardest to find something on YouTube that completes this post.

.

Because I was trying my hardest, I also found this about trying our hardest.

.

Thanks to all who are here for this trying-our-hardest post, including YOU!

  1. It’s amazing how you find such diverse photos for your daily topics. Your eyes are always open? I hope it all comes naturally — all this creative diversity would make me dizzy! Love this.

  2. loved the images and videos! xoxo

“Do or do not; there is no try” Yoda
““Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” ― Henry Ford

Not a fan of either the fictional Yoda or the all too real Henry Ford, but these quotes are for those who “try”. Doing it incorrectly is not a matter of trying; it is simply doing it incorrectly. There are failed attempts, and there are successful attempts. That is doing, not trying.

In a ode to honor my great grandparents:
Dzienkuje – To my Polish Greatgrands
Dakujem- To My Slovak (From present Slovakia) Greatgrands
    Merci- To my French Greatgrands
Thank you- to My English Greatgrands.

Yes I am a mutt. A loveable American Mutt. Due to my name, size and general interests, I identify with my Slavic ancestry more so than my Western European ancestry.

Boltorama and I are both grieving the loss of Bobby Weir. Without him, the Grateful Dead consists of only two drummers and one keyboardist if Tom Constanten is still with us. So I also am very grateful to the Grateful Dead, for years and years of dancing joy. I might have over 200 shows under my belt, but that’s largely because for the last few I traveled with a tye dye vendor. My job was to get in and grab a good spot for when he got there. Bobby was there for us when we were trying our hardest to deal with the grief brought about by Jerry’s death. He helped take us a bit further. Now we have further yet to go.

  5. Yes!

  6. The passing of Bob Weir reminds me of the time I lost a school assignment I’d worked very hard on. Sunday afternoon I went to pull it out and it wasn’t there. On the Monday ride to school I heard “Touch Of Grey”. I’m thankful to The Grateful Dead for assuring me I would survive.
I found my assignment on a shelf in one of my classrooms. And I’m thankful to you for reminding me that.
