Day 4730: Repairs

I thought about repairs, small and large, when I saw this sign yesterday.

.

Maybe that’s the best we can do: make small repairs while hoping that this world is not beyond repair.

Do you see repairs in my other images for today?

I am looking forward to future repairs as my son returns to Massachusetts tomorrow for the holidays!

Here’s what I find when I search for “repairs” on YouTube.

.

What are your thoughts and feelings about these repairs?

Thanks to all who are here for this repairs post, including YOU!

This from the NYT Morning needs to be repaired, maybe in time for our 300th anniversary? Too damn late for this one. A sad breach.

“The Treasury Department introduced coins celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. The coins did not include planned designs featuring abolition, women’s suffrage and the civil rights movement.”

  2. That is a lovely and meaningful holiday song

  3. The best thing about your holiday song it’s it’s inclusive. The holidays, whatever someone believes, should be for everyone.
Also I really love roast chestnuts but I understand that, unlike the holidays, they’re not for everyone. If you try to make roast chestnuts in an oven I recommend making wide, deep cuts in them. Otherwise they can explode.

Re: Small repairs. “We cannot change around until we change within” a lyric from one of my favorite songs. “Be the change you want” Gandhi. Small repairs that do not need a storefront; they need conviction.

Next President: Honestly, I would like to see Hakeem Jeffries. During the 2020 Primaries, I liked Amy Klobuchar and ‘Mayor’ Pete Buttigieg, but I also knew Biden would be good. Harris, while capable, had too much baggage. And I was proven to be right in 2024.
In 2028, Hakeem Jeffries and or Cory Booker. AOC should be Speaker of the House.

  5. Lord, everywhere I turn in my apartment I see projects or repairs… Thanks for the nudge. I think.
