Day 4571: A good place

I try to make my therapy groups a good place for people to share whether or not they are in a good place.

People will sometimes start the group by admitting that they are not in a good place. By the end of the group, they seem to be in a better place, just knowing they are not alone.

The hospital is a good place for me to do my therapy groups in person on Mondays. The rest of the week, my home is a good place to do my virtual groups.

It’s difficult for me to see the USA as a good place these days.

I try to get into a good place before I check my INR, since so many things affect it, including my mood.

This seems like a good place to share my photos for the day.

The ferry is a good place for me to start my Mondays.
A patient told me about a good place — Ponyhenge in Lincoln, MA
This is a good place I need to visit.
I told my patient about a good place nearby that honors Amelia Earhart.
I need to find a good place for this calendar in my new, shared office.
The ferry is a good place to be at the end of my workday.
A Tesla is a good place for these bumper stickers.

Here’s what I find when I search for “a good place” on YouTube.

  1. All we can do is our best to make our place in the world as good as it can be, Ann.

OMG! that’s such a good question about chocolate! I’m between Nutella and Toblerone

I love fudge. Back in Seattle there used to be a kiosk in the mall that sold fudge by the pound (a very good place!). I used to pick up a quarter pound (about $5), and try to eat it slowly, gnawing mere shavings off at a time. I always finished it faster than I wanted to.

  4. I love the idea of ponyhenge

  5. we all can do our part to help it be the best it can be

  6. Sometimes people tell me that if I don’t like what the US is doing I should leave. My response to that is that it’s my home. I can see the roof is leaky, the foundation is cracked, and there’s a lot of work to be done but I can still love my home because I see the potential for what it can be.

  7. Mmm – milk chocolate with almonds – in a Swiss candy bar. Their chocolate is smooth and creamy. Makes the USA Hersheys chocolate taste like plastic!
