Day 4472: Control

There are things I cannot control, like time changes (losing an hour yesterday in Italy) and when the trains run, as we leave Venice today for Arezzo.

However, I can control how often I have pasta in Italy and what photos I put in my blog and in what order.

.

Now I have to control any tendency to leave possessions behind as I repack my stuff for our train trip today to Arezzo.

Thanks to all who are here for this control post, including YOU!

  1. The food certainly looks interesting, Ann.

    • The food was so good, Mark, that I couldn’t control myself, so now I’m thinking about how to lose all the weight I gained.

  2. was that squid ink pasta? I love all the beautiful glass

I did not go to Arezzo, so I am looking forward to visiting it with you. But I will always miss Venice. When I got back, I collected all the books I could that were of Venice. I told FB I was like someone who had spotted the love of her life at a party, and ever after looked carefully to see if she could see him again. One of the best is this: https://www.barbarasbookhouse.com/Watermark by Joseph Brodsky. The empty spaces are from old Amazon automatic links that are no longer automatic.

  4. Dear Ann,

I accidentally stumbled upon your wordpress while looking for the “You Are Here” building in Chicago. I love your work, keep it up. Very engaging, very good photos, I feel like I am traveling with you!!!!

    Thanks

  5. The glass sculptures are fascinating to me because I know how difficult glass is to control. Artisans used to make detailed and accurate glass sculptures of ocean creatures that scientists would use for study.

  6. I am trying to control my drooling over your pasta photos😀

  7. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
