I’ve heard people ask “can I have a word?” when they want to communicate something.

.
Actually, I don’t want to have a polite, brief, or private word about what’s going on in my country and in the world right now, because it’s too serious to be confidential.
Yesterday, I asked people to come up with a word to describe the current USA Congress.

.
There were many other words, believe me.
I also asked people to share a word for how they were feeling.

.
Is there a word to describe my other images for today?

.
In the above list, I’m particularly noticing these words: forgive, Mom, Dad, recycling, Goddess, awkward, moments, sacrifice, appreciation, and social work.
Here’s what I find when I search for “a word” on YouTube:

Here’s a word to express my gratitude to YOU.

Good Morning Ann, A word to describe Congress: COMPLICIT. They are supposed to be the check on the POTUS.
Reason for happiness: It seems spring is coming. My yard is full of wildlife; rabbits, squirrels, and birds all seem to be rejoicing that they are not be harassed by our dogs (both passed last year).
National Forgive Mom and Dad day. I have long since forgiven my father. He passed in 1999. Before he passed we had several man to man heart to heart conversations where I bared my soul and told him how I felt growing up. He apologized for the mistreatment. My mother, on the other hand, became defensive whenever my sister or I would bring it up. Whereas my father owned and apologized for transgressions, my mother always found an excuse and never apologized for her inaction. After she passed in 2023, I forgave her but it feels different somehow.
I appreciate all your words, Stan.
my word for our current congress is ‘glaciated’ – frozen solid , silent, and unmoving
Good word, beth.
Dispirited. I thought I was starting a little conversation with my son, but before I could get my entire comment out, he interrupted me with a lecture which seemed to close the subject. We so rarely have actual conversations anymore.
So sorry to hear, Barbara.
I appreciate you, Ann.
The feeling is mutual, my very good friend.
I would use the word , ” upheaval ” to describe Congress and the current administration.
Good word.
I’m weary of being disrupted, Ann.
Weary, tired, and exhausted are all words I am hearing from people these days, Mark.
I love that spiral clock.
I love that you love that, Debbie.
