The human brain often focuses on problems, but it doesn’t always move on to solutions.
These days, the problems are coming so fast and furious that many people I know are overwhelmed.
Unfortunately, when we try to get some much-needed rest or sleep, unresolved problems like to say “Hello! Pay attention to me, now!”
Also, when we do solve problems, our brains often immediately go on to other problems. For example, earlier this week I solved some long-standing problems with my phone. Instead of enjoying the solution, I focused on other problems, including bird flu and threatened cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Every time I check the news or social media, I can feel lost in a torrent of problems. Maybe that’s why I asked this question on Twitter last night:

.
Do you see problems (or solutions) in my other images for today?

.
Sometimes I wish I could be more like the Daily Bitch and use her approach to problems.
Because I don’t ignore problems, I’ll look for them on YouTube.
.
In the midst of all these problems, I am so grateful to Randy Rainbow, our cats, the Daily Bitch, problem-solvers, and wonderful people everywhere, including YOU!

You remain a bright light, Ann.
It takes one bright light to know another one, my friend.
Oh my gosh you put a lot of effort into creating this blog! No problem there! I too suffer from too-much-info-in-bed syndrome. I am trying sleep music under my pillow … that, and a “NOT NOW” push back!
Thanks for the effort you put into your great communications here, Claudia!
I’m on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Just sitting here waiting to see which ball drops when. And what will I have to get rid of? At least you don’t cost anything, Ann. I’ll keep you.
We’ll keep each other, Barbara, because we are both priceless.
In an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, “Time’s Arrow”, Counselor Troi takes Mark Twain on a tour of the Enterprise and tells him that when people got rid of money a lot of other problems went away with it. Maybe that’s overly optimistic but I still think about it.
I think Counselor Troi is very wise, Chris, and so are you.
I’m surprised you still tweet. I would boycott anything that Musk owns. That would solve a problem
Well, we all have our ways of showing resistance.
