What day is it?

What day is it? It’s a day when I express my thoughts and feelings by sharing these images.

What day is it? It’s a day when I’ll be listening to people I love and not listening to people who hate. It’s also a day when I’ll be recording and posting my song “The Age of Nefarious,” which people I love seem to love.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “What Day Is It?”

What day is it? It’s another day when I express my thanks to all who help me face another day, including YOU!

  1. it’s a great day to be alive and stand strong, hopeful for the future , and knowing we’ll get though this hard time

  2. It is a day when people who have been held in captivity are home with their families, who have been counting the hours. It is a day to hope for more days like this.

It is a day when a new president takes the helm across the border from me, and now that one of my children and two of my grandchildren are American citizens, I hope most of all that the future is bright for both of our countries, despite my inability to grasp the science of politics.

  3. It’s a day when I will not be watching news from our nation’s capital, Ann. Elisabeth and George are coming over for lunch. We will be happy as a family, so, I will tip my hat to Sly and the Family Stone’s longtime goodie Family Affair.

It’s a day when I’m glad I listened to this colloquy between Heather Cox Richardson and Jennifer Rubin from The Contrarian, since it gave me a good grounding in how we have gotten here and the way out: https://contrarian.substack.com/p/heather-cox-richardson-and-jen-rubin?utm_source=podcast-email&publication_id=3719374&post_id=155208882&utm_campaign=email-play-on-substack&utm_content=watch_now_button&r=7annw&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

  5. For me today has been a good day for listening to the song “Unfinished Business” by Dave Davies, and also taking a walk outside even though it’s been well below freezing all day.
