Yesterday, I spent time with my son at an amazing autobiographical play by Ayodele Casel — Diary of a Tap Dancer.

.
Time was a major theme throughout the show and if you have time, I recommend you watch this Radcliffe lecture/performance from four years ago, which Ayodele Casel developed into the timeless production we saw yesterday.
.
Now it’s time for my other images for today.

.
How are you going to spend your precious time today?
Thanks to all who helped me create this time post, including YOU!

Introverts figure lots out for themselves, Ann.
They do, my friend.
Your area has a wealth of theatrical and musical productions and because you often take advantage of that, I sometimes feel quite broadened in my understanding of performance and its possibilities.
I’m thinking of all the time you have spent broadening my understanding of things, Maureen.
In my old(er) age, I often find I have to remind myself that I have plenty of time. It’s easy to get myself into a state of thinking I have to get certain things done. Like ironing the summer shirt that’s been waiting downstairs since September. Every Saturday, my computer reminds me to iron it, and every Saturday I find I’m busy doing things I prefer to do. But it is still at least four months away from anything like spring, and likely further away from when I’m likely to wear it. So I tell myself I have plenty of time. Other things are more important. Like writing. I will care if I die wanting to write more. But if I die without ironing that shirt, well. That’s just too damn bad.
Thanks for the time you spend here, Barbara.
It’s Saturday again. Wonder if I’ll iron that shirt today. Not that I’m on tenterhooks about it. What the hell are tenterhooks, anyway?
Tenterhooks are what we hang on.
I’m an introvert as well, love people, but also need quiet down time to recharge. love to have real conversations, not good at small talk, bad cocktail party guest
time with you is always well spent,, beth.
I appreciate that introverts often find creative ways to relate to others. I have a friend who’s an introvert and also an actor and playwright. The controlled environment of the theater is a comfortable place for him to be with other people.
I appreciate how you make so many places comfortable, my friend.
I spent some of my precious time working on a photo project. Hopefully I’ll find the time to finish it before too long.
Thanks for taking the time to comment here.
