Day 4342: Worried

Even though I often invite others to let go of worries, I’ve been worried since the USA election.

I honestly believe that being worried doesn’t help anything or anybody, but worried seems to be my default state these days.

I am wearied by being worried and I know that I am not alone.

I’m not worried about sharing these images with you.

.

On World Television Day, I’m worried about the ascendancy of right-wing television stations and how they are influencing elections.

Here’s what I find when I search for “worried” on YouTube.

.

While that was a very helpful video, I’m still worried.

Thanks to all who are here for this worried post, including YOU.

  1. ‘wearied by being worried’ would be a great new song title for you, and a way to help ease your worries.

Apropos of nothing much, except perhaps my inclination to see monsters whenever possible, one of your photos of autumnal marshes with a couple of long, low buildings way off in the distance, also seems to have a T-Rex popping out of a nearby tree. But you made it back alive, so I’m not too worried about you. 🙂

  3. I worry about becoming apathetic. I worry about not knowing what to do. I think being worried proves I still care but I’m still not letting go of worry.

  4. Well, I spent half the morning after the election being anxious and nauseated. Finally, I realized I needed to get on with my day and decided I could not do what I did during Trump’s last term and that 1) I would concentrate on taking care of myself (health, spiritual life, community), 2) I would take in news judiciously in order to be a good citizen, but avoid constant outrage or the idea that I could, alone affect anything, and that 3) I would make a plan to execute #1 and monitor #2. I too am wearied by being worried.
