I hope my blog posts are topical, even when I’m exhausted by the current topics.
Sometimes, I’d prefer what’s tropical to what’s topical. This is one of those times.
I’m also wishing that what is topical now becomes less typical after the USA election. I’m going to do my part by voting for Kamala Harris on her birthday — today!

I hope that you thoroughly enjoy casting your vote, and perhaps wear your dashing red T-shirt.
Our province’s election was yesterday but the results are too close to call and will take a couple of weeks to do recounts to know the results. This is concerning because we had a socially progressive majority government and it was humbled by a brand new socially conservative party unlike anything we have had before. Going to be a nail-biter.

Unfortunately, whether he wins or loses, TFG will still be all too topical for the weeks and months ahead. In the event that we win the day, I intend to ignore all news of him unless it be the length of a prison sentence. I could, however, be paving the road to hell. In which case, I suspect we’re all fellow travelers.
