After surviving another day, I’m thinking about those who survived and those who did not.
I don’t know how my country will be surviving so many people in thrall to a narcissistic conman and a 14 year old killing classmates and teachers with an assault rifle.
Do you see surviving in my blog post for today?

.
Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “surviving.”
.
This song has been running through my head as I’ve been creating this surviving post.
.
Thanks to all who help me survive each day, including YOU.

Are they ever going to get the message that gun control is part of the answer?
Thank you for helping all of us to survive. I hope your song Don’t Kill Yourself gets airplay everywhere.
Perhaps a sequel is needed, Don’t Kill Your Classmates, Either. (I mean that unironically, because I think you have the skill to make it work)
It seems the 14-year-old suspect in the Georgia school killings was questioned a year or so ago for making threats. At 13. How in the hell are we to tell one 13-year-old making threats from another? Didn’t we all threaten to kill each other when we were 13? And didn’t most of us survive those years without actualizing our momentary hates?

I was thinking earlier today about the “It Gets Better” program that was so popular several years ago. I don’t know how many young people it helped but I feel like it’s a message that’s still needed: it can get better, but only if you don’t hurt yourself or others.
