.

Let’s explore YouTube and see if we can find Bette Midler singing “I Believe in You.”

.

Thanks to all who explore with me, including YOU!

I’ve always had a crush on explorers, from Ernest Shackleton to Edmund Hillary (at one point I could relate the route up Everest piece by piece – knew terms like “South Col” and “khumbu Icefall” by heart. Stories of early African and Amazonian explorers. Imagined myself going there, doing that. I didn’t. I had other adventures. But now I enjoy exploration by book, most lately of the ancient Middle East, told through stories gleaned from cuneiform tablets. Not to mention exploring my own thoughts here, on other social media, and on my website Barbaras Bookhouse.

I must have missed the whole “cat lady” thing and I’m starting to see it everywhere. I’ll have to go do some research!

  4. I was a cat lady before cat ladies were a thing. 🙂

  5. I’ve followed stray cats—I want to give every one a better life while also respecting and even admiring their independence—and I think they recognize I’m a fellow explorer.

  7. I think a gathering of photographers deserves its own word, like gaggle of geese, Ann. Maybe it has one but I’m just not aware.
