Thanks, Great Internet Friends!
Thanks for the beauty, Ann. After a two-week break from WP and all social media considering if it was time to part ways with all of it, I’m back … not ready for the total separation, says my soul.
i am glad you are here, Mark
TGYH (Thank God You’re Here), my friend.
Yep, I am so, so glad it is Friday! Another week down! Woot woot!
Yay!!
TGIF! I remember the Fridays of yesteryear as if they were – well – yesteryear. My later days in Seattle were spent being a partner in my daughter’s artisanal jam business, so Fridays were full of packing up for the weekend farmers’ markets. My days in the 9-5 office biz are long gone. But cheers to the rest of you. And a few condolences. 🙂
Thanks for the memories, Barbara.
There’s a darkly funny World War II film called Kelly’s Heroes about a group of soldiers who break through the German line in pursuit of a stash of gold. Part of what makes it fun is the cast that includes Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, Donald Sutherland, Carrol O’Connor, and Don Rickles. Back when we still had video stores a friend and I went looking for it in the Comedy section, only to be told it was in the “War” section, which I’d never been in before.
Thank God It’s Funny, Chris.
