Day 4145: Wellness

When I’m in a state of wellness, everything seems easier.

Do you see wellness in my images for today?

.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “wellness.”

.

I’m noticing that TED talk on wellness happened right before the COVID lockdown, which greatly affected people’s experience of wellness.

What are your thoughts and feelings about wellness?

Thanks to all who contribute to my wellness, including YOU.

  1. I think the biggest wellness exercise one can do is to cultivate a sense of humor about oneself. Especially as one ages, and abilities seem to drop off one by one, it’s important to greet every new self with a welcoming smile and think, well, one way or another, you and I will get along as best we can until we can’t.

  2. I think wellness and great teachers go together. All the best teachers I’ve had told me I was worthy—I’m thinking especially of Ms. Dobbins who was a finalist for the space shuttle program, and who told us “Reach for stars”. The start of wellness is believing we deserve to feel good.

My favorite teacher was my philosophy professor. I’m glad your doing well, Ann

  4. mrs. Schulze 4th grade, read ‘a wrinkle in time’ to us each day after recess and set my love of words on fire. mrs. lovse, 5th grade, who adopted a boy in our classroom, highly unusual and I found out later that he had been living in a very abusive home.

  5. I have no useful thoughts about wellness to offer at this time. But I do have a thought about *swellness* and it is that you are swell, Ann. 🙂
