Day 4069: New holidays

Last night, I asked a question about new holidays.

.

Do you see any potential new holidays in these images for today?

.

How about Daily Bitch Day as a new holiday?

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “new holidays.”

.

Thanks to all those who help me find reasons to celebrate new holidays every day, including YOU!

  2. thanks for the post, thinking day, I need to do more, cheers…good health

  3. Ah, so last night I just said August 1, Jerry Garcia Day – but this morning I bethink me that perhaps other fans might suggest April 20th, or 4/20 Day. The politically responsible me agrees about Election Day (and no, don’t change it to Saturday or Sunday – don’t mess up people’s weekends). I might change Independence Day in the Pacific Northwest to July 5th, but with my luck the weather would take note and bring us a celebratory rainstorm on that day as well. Is Juneteenth an official holiday yet? So many good ideas above. My favorite is from Fox @FinishLastAgain Huberwheeton Day. Let’s pick a day and do it.

Single tasking day! Not for me. I’m delighted when I can go so far as to triple task (example: crocheting and watching a video, while riding my exercise bike).

  5. There’s a Monty Python episode with a running joke that it’s “Michael Ellis Week”. So one week when I was in college my friends and I decided we’d have a Michael Ellis Week. Mostly we celebrated by telling people “Happy Michael Ellis Week!” And when it was over it was what a rotten ending.

  6. You-fill-in-the-blank-when-you-wake-up Day, Ann. Hey, I pretty much do that all the time.

  7. Think Generously Day.

  8. Now, I will be thinking of new days to add and make a holiday out of! X
