Every time I change my haircut at MiAlisa Salon, I see this sign about change:

I like the way the nearby magazine is also about change; that’s why I didn’t change the framing of that shot.
Here are some quotes about change that I also wouldn’t change.

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I have a sense of melancholy; what helps me change my attitude is writing this blog.
Do you see change in my other images for today?

The only day that didn’t change between those two lists is National Cake Day.
Here’s what I find when I look for change on YouTube.

Thanks to all who deal with change, including YOU.

Right now I am reading your blog, and Beth’s is next, Ann.
I see that the tools have moved from the upholstered furniture to the wood and glass furniture. Again reminiscent of my house.
I wrote a blog post a couple of years ago that begins, “Changing clothes is a pain in the neck.” It’s about my attitude towards change, much of which I have resisted – “What do you mean, wear a seatbelt? I can’t reach the ashtray with it on.” Stuff like that. But I end with my gradual acceptance of all kinds of changes, including my aging face without eye makeup (need glasses to see, can’t put it on with glasses on, you get the drill). I still hate changing clothes, but I quit smoking 20 years ago and would feel naked in the driver’s seat without a seatbelt. In other words, anyone can change. It only hurts for a little while.
without fail, every time I’ve made a change it’s led to something good, though I might have not seen it right away. reading demon copperhead right now
