Day 3953: Make a difference

When I think about my wish for myself in this world, my hope is to make a difference in positive ways, small, medium, or large.

I wonder if today’s blog post will make a difference.

.

On International Internet and National Cat Day, I hope to make a difference by sharing (1) kind and creative people who connect on the internet and (2) cats.

Here’s what I find on the internet when I search for “make a difference.”

.

Thanks to Verity Leung, kind and creative people who connect on the internet, cats and other wonderful creatures, and all those who make a difference, including YOU.

  1. You make a difference and so does Joan, with your help. I remember Oscar fondly, too. Your water photos, this time with marsh or reeds (?), offer such a soothing start to my day.

  2. What a great idea, a social distancing support cat. If only. And the little bevy of racoons. I could take all of them in a heartbeat. I’m going to go make a difference in my neighbor Beth’s life today by taking her the money I owe her for yard work last week. I know, $25 won’t make much of a difference, but she wouldn’t take anything more. She and her sons are the ones who makes a difference!

  4. Ann: For some reason, your algorithm is rejecting my first attempts at a comment by saying that I’ve already made that comment. Which of course I haven’t. I have found that I can get it to accept the comment if I go back and make one change. Today it was the addition of an extra !.

  5. I think that every action, big and small makes a difference. the butterfly effect.

  6. Debbie Terman

I was a Girl Scout leader for over 400 girls (not all at once!) and I’ve trained over 200 new troop leaders, in 30 years of volunteering. I occasionally hear from one of those people telling me how valuable I made their experiences, and I like to think I’ve made a difference for many more who I don’t hear from 🙂

  7. I think you make a difference with many of your actions, Ann.

  8. You make a big difference!:)
