After a harrowing day in the Emergency Room on Saturday, I was relieved and happy to be taking things for granted again yesterday as I returned to my normal routine with those I love and trust.

.
Here’s what I find when I search for “taking things for granted again.”
.
Taking-things-for-granted-again thanks to Joy Oladokun, cats, the Daily Bitch, Tous Les Jours Café, Stop & Shop, people who engage authentically on Twitter, and those I trust, including YOU.

Let’s all have the best day we can today, Ann.
We keep trying, my friend.
glad you are ok! 🙂 xoxo
Thank you, my friend!
Your secret life with cats is a secret safe with us, Ann. 🙂 I’m so glad you are back from the ER!
It’s no secret how wonderful you are, Maureen.
Those cakes look yummy!
The food at that bakery is VERY yummy, Debbie.
I am always nervous about taking things for granted. I mean, up until three days ago I took the NYT for granted – it always arrived in my mailbox overnight. Then a bunch of things, including you and the NYT didn’t. As of yesterday, you and some other things are back, but no NYT. But this is small potatoes. I’m thinking Ukraine, Israel, the West Bank, our southern border. Nope. Not helping. Grrrrr.
We all take things for granted, Barbara, but I always appreciate your comments.
Anne,
I find mine in American currency. Not in and of itself but rather what is imprinted on it. “In God we trust”. In Him alone lies my trust. All the wonderful people in my life whether family, friend, medical, religious have my firm confidence. But in failing somehow as we as mortal beings all do; confidence is a high enough pedestal.

Thanks for sharing, Alan.
I trust most people until they prove me wrong
I trust you, beth !
