It must be nice to have many people in one’s life like my beloved friend Megan, who talked to me yesterday about the phrase “it must be nice.” It must be nice to have a job coach like Megan has, who is helping her embrace and celebrate the joys in her life without fear about other people’s jealousy.
Before I spoke with Megan yesterday, I was thinking it must be nice for people to realize their dreams of writing a book, which I haven’t been able to do. It is more than nice that Megan and I agreed yesterday to write a book together about our experiences as psychotherapists.
It must be nice to be able to write a book on your own, but I think it’s nicer to have a writing companion.
It must be nice to have a new puppy like Megan has…

.
… but I’m happy with all the blessings I have around me.

It must be nice to have a corvette to drive to work.
Here’s “It Must Be Nice” (actually “Washington on Your Side”) from Hamilton.
.
It must be nice (and it is!) to have wonderful readers like YOU.

Having the wonderful experience of writing a book with my great friend Mike Waters a full decade ago now (!!!) Ann, I wish you and Megan a wonderful authorship journey.
It must be nice to have written a book, Mark! Where can I get your book?
It still available on Amazon, Ann, and thank you so much for asking. https://www.amazon.com/Syracuse-Fans-Survival-Guide-ACC/dp/1935806491
Good luck with writing your book! I agree, it is nice to have a writing partner!
Thanks for this nice comment, Carol Anne!
I think it must be nice, just to be who we truly are and live that way. I know it will be nice to read you as an author )
Nice, beth!
(Thinking of today’s SC decisions) It must be nice to be able to turn folks you disapprove of away from your place of business; it must to nice to think that now you’ve paid your student loans off, as I have, everybody else will continue to be saddled with them until the end of time. (Using the phrase as I think it was originally intended by our founders, LOL)
It must be nice to have a better Supreme Court, Barbara.
I don’t think Corvettes are very nice cars but I do appreciate how Harley has found a nice place under the curtain.
It must be nice to have a place to hide whenever you need it, my very nice friend.
Nice! Sounds like a wonderful goal, Ann. It must be nice to have the assistance of a good friend! Of course this is true. 🙂
Thanks for always being a nice and good friend, Debra!
I am delighted to read that you and your friend Megan are going to write a book about psychotherapy. I will be one of your book’s first customers. And, let me know if you need a beta reader!
I have always thought of your blog as a serialized book with a continuing narrative and cast of characters, btw
I am delighted to read another nice and extremely helpful comment from you, Maureen.
