Day 3806: Drawing Conclusions

I am drawing conclusions that people like drawing conclusions, because chaos and unknowns are so uncomfortable for us.

I am also drawing conclusions about myself based on years of evidence, including this one: I can do a good enough job taking care of myself and others.

Might you be drawing conclusions based on the images I have to share today?

I am resisting drawing conclusions about today’s list of Holidays and Observances until I do more research about them.

Based on my research at YouTube, I’m drawing conclusions that there are several videos about drawing conclusions, including this one:

.

Drawing the conclusion of this post about drawing conclusions includes expressing my gratitude to YOU!

  1. It appears someone in your house is learning a new language, Ann, or brushing up on a second language …

  2. I would love to draw attention to the kindness in people, rather than the negative

  3. I’ve often said I can’t draw a crooked line (no kidding, some people can draw a crooked line and it looks, I don’t know, cool?). Maybe that’s why I draw so few conclusions – there are always so many possibilities. Even the “The End” that I write at the end of my novels feels more like a reason to stop writing now and polish the thing up than a declaration that it’s the end of the story.

  4. Debbie T

Very nice work by the various artists who replied to your Twitter question with drawings!

  5. I’ll come at this question with a literal response. I can barely doodle, let alone actually draw. My children have a very funny memory that always brings laughter. When they were young and we’d have to wait in a doctor’s office or some kind of situation that needed us pass the time, to entertain them I’d draw pictures of animals and because my artwork is so poor, it really did keep them amused. Homespun entertainment in the years before screen time! LOL!

  6. Your tub looks comfy! Comfy enough for reading a book while soaking. I’m so glad that your bathroom renovations and reparations have been completed.

    What’s a shot of dot?

Was Joan helping you do a presentation?

    • My conclusion is that your curiosity is always caring, Maureen. “Dot” is the nickname for Dorchester, a part of Boston near to us, so that was a sign in a restaurant/bar we walked by. We are having trouble with our cable TV service, which keeps displaying the “Welcome” screen and Joan is always a welcome presence.
