We all need escapes from
- the news,
- injustice,
- cruelty,
- cognitive distortions,
- politics as usual, and
- worry.
Do you see escapes in my images for today?

Here’s what I find when I search for escapes on YouTube:
.
Thanks to all who share in my escapes, including YOU!

When I was a kid, we lived in a house with heat vents in the floors, usually in a corner beside a door. Winters you could find me curled up on one with a blanket over my knees, behind the open door, reading.
Thanks for sharing your escape, Barbara.
I love walking all over the place
A lovely escape.
A fine, apt, quotation from my favourite philosopher
That wisdom of that quotation did not escape me, Derrick.
Your walks help me escape, Ann, right here.
Thanks for walking with me, my friend.
I definitely need scape from the news! I am, however, one of those people who feels knowledge of what’s going on is essential to being an “informed voter”, whatever that entails. It is a heartbreaker, however, when you see your Congressman – that’s you Adrian! – following the anti-democratic madman down the rabbit hole, knowing he still has roughly 70% of the district’s vote every time he runs, even if he advocates [name the most outrageous thing possible here – Adrian has no limits!]. Scary times.
We can’t seem to escape these scary times, Doug!
I miss Joan’s
Escape
A wilderness’ diamond
Reflects
A vagabond’s paradise
Elate
Sorrowful hearts
and tears
Abate
Just using Joan as an example of freedom, don’t mean for her to ever escape.
Your thoughtful meaning did not escape me, Maria!
