I learn important lessons every day, including those lessons I need to keep relearning in different ways.
Yesterday, when I was walking with my husband Michael near our home, I heard him repeat this important lesson which I keep relearning: “Where there’s life, there’s hope.”
Do you see important lessons in today’s blog post?

good video! I agree, where tere is life, there is hope, that is so true!
Where there is life there is hope is a lesson I can learn from my gray stick tree (a buckthorn, outside my office window). A few weeks ago we had a couple of days of warm spring weather – and fat buds appeared and seemed about to burst open. Then there was (surprise! this is Wisconsin) a little snowstorm and a week or more of coldish weather, and it seemed to shrink back inside itself. Today, after several days of what seems to be actually Spring, they have opened and my little stick tree is festooned with sprouting leaves. Actually, trees everywhere here are simply fuzzy with them.
And where there is hope there’s life
Michael is a very wise man! Sometimes when life feels strained these are words to recall!
I love that collection of painted rocks. Lots of good advice and encouraging ideas there.
I’m glad I listened to my teachers who saw potential in me, Ann.
An important lesson is that bonsai is striving well!
I hope Michael is okay (in addition to being hopeful)
