Day 3783: Life is too short

Life is too short to

  • worry about the future,
  • regret the past, and
  • spend too much time on lists.

Life is too short to postpone doing what I want to do, like sharing today’s Daily Bitch Calendar…

… and my question on Twitter last night.

.

Life is too short to not share what we can with each other (including my other images for today).

Life is too short to not eat what I want with people I love, so tonight I’ll be having an early Mother’s Day celebration dinner with my husband Michael, my son Aaron, and his father Leon.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “life is too short.”

Life is too short to hold back from expressing gratitude and appreciation to others, including YOU!

  1. I agree that life is too short

  2. … not appreciate the good things in life, Ann, and show it to those people who help make your life good.

  3. spend on regrets

I couldn’t agree more with today’s Daily Bitch

  5. You damn betcha life is too damn short, which is why I woke up, figuratively speaking, in 2008 and thought to myself, “Jeebus, kid. You’re 65. You’re almost dead. Time to get moving.” So I self-published (no time to wait around for NY publishers to get the memo) my first novel in 2011 and my third in 2017. Three novels in 16 years. And they’re all pretty damned good, if I do say so myself. 🙂

    • Barbara, that is amazing! What an accomplishment!

      • I was very lucky to have found a stellar writer’s group, Writer’s Cramp, in Seattle, who shepherded me through them. They would have been unpublishable without these folks giving me feedback on everything all along the way. My advice to all writers – find a group that is intelligent, kind and funny – and honest!

      • Wonderful!

  6. I also like to think ‘this too shall pass’.
