Day 3745: Difficult Times

In difficult times,

  • realize that you are not alone,
  • be especially kind to yourself,
  • connect with people you love,
  • do things that comfort you,
  • try to avoid difficult people,
  • remember that you have made it through other difficult times before, and
  • breathe.

.

This blog post is dedicated to everyone who is going through difficult times.

The Daily Bitch and my inner bitch have helped me through many difficult times.

Here’s what I find when I search for “difficult times” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who deal with difficult times, including YOU.

  1. We can do it, Ann.

  2. Keep your hood up and your head down and don’t make any sudden moves.

  3. Debbie T

I had a book called Debbie in Dreamland, which I loved for obvious reasons. I might still have it somewhere.

  4. I still have a book called The Wonderful Flight To The Mushroom Planet my mother gave me when I was young. It’s about two boys who help people on another planet through difficult times—with a little help from a mysterious adult. Teach the kids well and trust them to do the right thing.

  5. Someone said
    “These are difficult times”
    But Joan and Harley Smiled
    “These are tail wagging mimes”
    Someone heard this Rhyme
    Long time Ago
    It was a Lifetime
    It was a Song

  6. always choose breathe. my favorite children’s book is ‘go, dog, go.’ especially because of the surprise dog party in the tree at the end and because my mantra is ‘go.’

Favorite book(s) for children: Fog Magic, the book that introduced young me to the wonderful world of time travel.
