Day 3746: You are here

You are here and so am I. As I say in every Coping and Healing group, thanks for showing up exactly the way you are here.

You are here, perhaps, to see my images for today.

You are here to witness how amazing it is that a carrot-colored man who tells lies and has been accused of sexual assault is being indicted on International Carrot Day, Tell a Lie Day, National Sexual Assault Awareness Month’s Day of Action Day, and (if all that weren’t enough) World Rat Day.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “you are here.”

You are here and I am so grateful that you are!

  1. Thank you for sharing words and visions of hope and inspiration, Ann.
And it says a lot to me that I went through an entire career without knowing that April 4 was designated as hug a newsperson day!

  2. In re Twitter, I am still here as long as you are still here. And that goes for a few more of my fellow Twits. 🙂 You all have made clicking into Twitter once or twice a day a joy.

  3. well, I am here where I often learn about new and unique holidays

  4. Thank you for today’s photos, jokes and musings. I like your cat the best

  5. The actor Joss Ackland once said, “I’m going there, but I like it here, wherever it is.”

  6. Joan is Near
    She is Gone
    but Reappears

    A Carousel
    Brought Her Back
    This Year

    Her Voices Beat
    A Drum
    and Ear

    The Acoustics
    of the Present Time
    Are Here

  7. In the words of Winston Churchill, “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” I watched a perp not take the perp walk in Manhattan on April 4th yet felt a little safer seeing that Bragg corralled that fellow who would be president by hook, crook, quirk in the US Constitution, or outright insurrection.
