“Nice!” I just said to myself when I woke up with plenty of time to blog and get to the hospital for my first day of work after a week-long group therapy conference, where several people told me I was nice. When people tell me I’m nice, it’s often after I’ve given them a sincere compliment and I usually respond, “I’m not nice, I’m authentic.”
Yesterday, when my nice husband Michael and I went food shopping, I saw another nice little yellow Honda Fit in the parking lot, so I pulled into the space next to it and took a picture.

Nice!
Later, I noticed that somebody had left a note on my windshield and Michael and I speculated on what it might say. My guess was that the note said “nice car!” Here’s the note:

That’s so nice and here are my other images for today (which include several images shared by a nice guy on Twitter):

It IS nice to believe in yourself. Here’s the first thing I find on YouTube when I search for “nice”:
.
Nice!
Thanks to all the nice people who read this daily blog, including YOU!

We brought Ellie over to meet Ava for the first time last night, Ann, and our dog and Elisabeth and George’s cat acted nice around each other (from a safe distance, we kept her on her leash this initial encounter, of course).
Nice, Mark!
I have never seen a yellow Fit like yours. What a coincidence that there were two in the same lot. Wouldn’t it be startling if both fits had owners with rare heart conditions? Or who were bloggers with an international following?
Coincidences are so nice and thank you for another nice comment, Maureen.
Sometimes I think about leaving a nice note on someone’s car but I know how I panic when I see a note on my car, which I always think might be a ticket, and I wouldn’t want to do that to someone.
I also think the Ig Nobel Prizes are pretty nice.
Because I believe lots of people are nice, I was very happy to see the note, Christopher.
And thank you for another nice comment, my nice friend.
I like the rock painted like a yellow squash.
I thought that was nice, too, Debbie.
I think I value “nice” more than every before. It used to be a word I though quite bland, but no longer. It’s a great word for a very “nice” attribute. Have you seen “The Banshees of Inisherin?” “Nice” takes on a whole new importance. 🙂
I watched that movie twice and I agree with you about “nice.”
my favorite award:
The UNESCO/Guillermo Cano Prize “has been calling the world’s attention to the bravery of journalists around the world who sacrifice so much in the pursuit of truth and accountability.
“We are inspired by their example and reminded of the importance of ensuring the right of journalists everywhere to report freely and safely”
The $25,000 Prize recognizes outstanding contributions to the defence or promotion of press freedom especially in the face of danger. It is named after Guillermo Cano Isaza, the Colombian journalist who was assassinated in front of the offices of his newspaper El Espectador in Bogotá, Colombia, on 17 December 1986.
Thanks for sharing that, my very nice friend.
