“I Know This Much is True” by Spandau Ballet is running through my head right now:
I know this much is true:
- Innocent people are dying because of the actions of terrible leaders.
- My suffering does not alleviate the suffering of others.
- There are many wonderful people on this earth.
- People are causing irreparable damage to this earth.
- Some things can be repaired.
- Cats are personal medicine for many of us humans.
- I have trouble making certain types of decisions.
- People grieve according to their own timetable.
- Being kind to others and to myself is a priority for me.
- My husband Michael is a fabulous cook.
- It’s often healing to realize that you are not alone.
- I share thoughts, feelings, and images on this blog to prepare for each day and to connect with others.

I know this much is true: it’s important to celebrate whatever you can these days.
True thanks to all who know their personal truths, including YOU.

Thank you for being so true, Ann.
Thank you, my true-blue friend.
What a marvellous selection of truth and fun!
I’m so glad you liked it, Peter!
That cat is great!
It takes one great cat to know another one!
The cat at the bar ordering whiskey made me laugh out loud. And of course the tangled up cat woth failed directions is a gem.
Your salmon dinner sure looks yummy!
It’s true that I love your comments, Maureen!
truth shared is truth gained, I know that to be true
Thanks for sharing your truth, beth!
The sun will always continue to shine, for what it’s worth
It’s worth a lot!
Joan is a very fine cat. I know that’s a subjective statement but I stick by it as truth.

I also enjoyed the book “I Know This Much is True,” by Wally Lamb. I would add that I know it is true that Joan is a very pretty cat!
It’s true that I loved the mini-series but haven’t read the book. And we agree with your truth about Joan!
I know that, whether or not I comment, I always enjoy reading your blog, Ann! 🥰
