Day 3335: What’s annoying

What’s annoying me, here and now, is that I need to do a presentation about groups this morning via ZOOM, and I don’t think my presentation is very good.

What’s annoying is that sometimes we have to do things that are outside our comfort zone.

What’s annoying to me is that life is short, and there are SO MANY things I’d rather be doing right now than presenting or worrying about my presentation.

Can you see what’s annoying about my images for today?

What’s annoying to me is that National Cabbage Day is on the same day as National Random Acts of Kindness Day.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “what’s annoying.”

What’s annoying is when people forget to express gratitude, so thanks to you for visiting my blog today!

  1. presenting via Zoom is tough. After two years online, I need the human touch

  2. Sorry you have to do a presentation you’re not jazzed about, Ann, but my hunch is you’ll be terrific. Good luck!

  3. I have not had a full week’s vacation from my work at the library since that time we met in Cape Cod in June, Ann. I find myself frayed and annoyed at myself at many points … The good news: My full week off starts after my shift tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the staycation very much.

  4. I bet that your annoyance was totally unnecessary and your presentation was a lot better than you thought it was going to be.

  5. We had a giant storm sweep through and I’m annoyed that everything’s soaked and we had some flooding in the basement. I’m annoyed that the sump pump we had installed many years ago has stopped working. But I’m also grateful it wasn’t worse. I’m actually glad to be just annoyed.

  6. What annoys me is the fact that there isn’t rational prescription drug pricing. For the same prescription recently, I was quoted prices from $1009, $500, then $43. One was because the insurance wouldn’t cover it (though they’ve paid for it for several years!); another was they’s cover part of it but this was my co-pay. The third one was because I refused to pay the first two. After all, they were out of my reach. Tell me there isn’t something very annoying about this!

  7. “…they’d…”

  8. i’m annoyed that there is not yet a forum for us to state our annoyances at least once a week. your post is a good beginning to this initiative.

  9. I hope your presentation went well, Ann!

  10. I think dread is terribly annoying! I am sure your presentation was great, but had you the opportunity to begin the session with a song, you’d have been even more outstanding. Maybe a little ukelele?

  11. I am never annoyed by you and your supportive comments, my good friend!
