Because yesterday was Halloween, I naturally thought about costumes.
Of course, we all wear costumes of some sort, every day. In a little while, I have to put on a working-at-the-hospital-in-person costume, which is different from the costumes I wear when I’m working at home or having a day off from work.
Do you see any costumes in today’s images?

It looks like it’s going to be a busy day, so I hope I choose the right costume!
Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “costumes”:
Here’s the song that’s playing in my head as I create this “costumes” post:
Thanks to all who showed up wearing costumes today, including YOU!

Yes I think it is highly advisable that you costume yourself before your walk, Ann. Thanks for the Leon Russell music. I had forgotten about him! Beautiful song.
Thanks for the beautiful comment!
I do like spying the Joan Cone adorning the fireplace icon, Ann!
I do like your comments, Mark!
The ears are a nice touch. Happy Halloween, belated!
-Alan
Thanks for touching down here, Alan!
Oscar Wilde said, “Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth,” but I think you tell the truth whether you’re masked or not. And I cannot lie: Joan looks like a wonderful mask.
Thanks for telling the truth, Chris.
Beautiful colors and excellent pier landscape Ann.Joan is precious.
“Every profound spirit needs a mask: even more, around every profound spirit a mask is continually growing.”- Friedrich Nietzsche
Thanks for another beautiful comment, Maria!
I love costumes and love to wear them. seeing Joan’s mask off and on something else is a joy to behold.
Your words are always a joy to behold, beth.
I enjoyed Leon Russell. Thank you. And Miss Joan didn’t have to wear her collar costume, but I presume she stayed home rather than trick or treat! 🙂 It was the first year that I opened my door to the children wearing a surgical mask. The children started arriving at our house and many were wearing their “Covid protection” masks, so I donned one, too. That’s a first! I hope it’s a last, as well. But it was fun to see the children having fun.
