Day 4395: Radical Acceptance, again

These are times, my friends, for radical acceptance, which I’ve written about before (here and here).

Radical acceptance doesn’t mean you like the current situation or give up on the possibility of change. It means you face, rather than deny, the current situation.

I am not happy about the state of my country but I need to face the reality of it.

Do you see radical acceptance in any of my images for today?

.

That does seem like a form of radical acceptance.

Sometimes it’s difficult for me to radically accept that I need to be on Warfarin for the rest of my life because of my mechanical heart valve, but I’m working on it.

Here’s what I find when I search for radical acceptance on YouTube:

.

Thanks to all who help me practice radical acceptance every day, including YOU.

Day 4394: Gratitude

Even during difficult times, I have so much gratitude.

Can you see gratitude in today’s images?

.

I also have gratitude Sam & Dave and here is “I Thank You.”

.

I have gratitude for being alive for another day.

.

I have gratitude for my son, who is a ginger, and I have gratitude for the hot tea I get to drink on National Hot Tea Day.

.

And, of course, I have gratitude for YOU.
