Here’s The Daily Bitch for November 30, 2023:

Yesterday, my friend Megan and I bitched to each other about people and organizations who have been saying “sorry, not sorry” (if not “fuck you”) to us. Having a daily bitch with a good caring friend can counteract the effect of all those people who don’t seem to care about you.

I’m hoping that this daily bitch with you, here and now, will help me regain my enthusiasm and confidence about giving a concert of my original songs in June.

Day 3566: Silly sides

You might think that a blog post about silly sides would be about crazy cole slaw or preposterous potatoes, but that would just be silly and therefore appropriate for today.

I like to bring out silly sides no matter what day it is. Do you see any silly sides in my images for today?

I’m going to celebrate silly sides today by using this as a mindfulness exercise for one of my therapy groups.

Day 2683: Don’t even talk to me unless …

Don’t even talk to me unless you are

paying attention,
thoughtful,
honest,
interested in others’ responses,
open-minded,
self-aware,
authentic,
friendly,
committed to helping yourself and others survive,
wearing a mask in public places and otherwise following social distancing orders,
hopeful,
realistic,
able to laugh at yourself,
able to laugh at me, and
kind to animals.

DO even talk to me about what you see in this post.

I can’t even talk about how anxiety-provoking it is when an animal is sick, because they can’t even talk to you about how they’re feeling and I can’t talk to Oscar about the ultrasound he’s having today.

Are these two people even talking to each other?
