I’m curious about why the National Day Calendar website ended that description of Curious Events Day with such a warning. Did curiosity really kill the cat? And is it wrong to be curious without fear?

On Curious Events Day, I am curious about whether there are more stupid people or more mean people in this curious world.
When I met with my Primary Care Doctor yesterday, we were both curious about the curious noises I hear in my jaw and mouth when I speak and we will remain curious until somebody figures out how to stop them.
