I’m sure I’m not alone in experiencing many life changers.

.
My life changers include my parents, cardiac pacemakers, friends, cats, books, doctors, teachers, musicians, therapists, my two husbands, my son, and me!
Let’s see if there are any life changers in today’s blog.

.
Here’s what I find when I search for life changers on YouTube.
.
Thanks to all the life changers out there, including YOU!

choosing my own adventure and not being afraid, or doing something in spite of being afraid
All wonderful life changers, my friend.
C.S. Lewis wrote a partial autobiography entitled “Surprised by Joy,” in which he documents his transition from atheism to Christianity. I did not mean to imply that The Grateful Dead were “religion” as such to me. Although we did call Dead Night at the Blue Moon Tavern “church.” It was the music. Somewhere in the music so many of us found what we were looking for. So much I learned while the music was playing, I can barely recall who I was before. Just grateful that I climbed aboard the bus and left that lost soul behind.
I’m so glad they changed your life, Barbara.
Earlier this week I was thinking about the radio show Studio 360 which I used to listen to every week. Occasionally the host Kurt Anderson would ask “Is there something specific that inspired you to become an artist?” and he’d request that listeners send in their stories. I always got caught on the word “specific”. The books of Beverly Cleary, Judy Blume, and Betsy Byars were a big influence on my desire to write. I showed my mother a poem I wrote when I was sixteen. She said it reminded her of Dylan Thomas and she got me a book of his poems. I loved, and still love, Emily Dickinson too. And Ray Bradbury. And there are the teachers I had who encouraged me. All of them changed my life.
Thanks for how you change lives too, Chris.
I have many life changers too! Its all part of the journey!
Thanks for sharing the journey here, Carol Anne!
